The Rattan LM Ultra is the high-step version of Rattan’s long-range folding platform, built for riders who want serious battery capacity without giving up a compact, travel-friendly frame. Its 48V 40.5Ah battery stores 1,944Wh of energy, while a 1000W sustained rear hub motor can deliver up to 1800W peak output. Rattan lists up to 120 miles of maximum assisted range, and top speed is 28 mph.
The LM Ultra makes the most sense for riders who want maximum range in a folding e-bike, but prefer a high-step frame. It is especially well suited to RV owners, long-distance commuters, delivery riders, campers and buyers who want to reduce range anxiety without moving to a full-size non-folding bike.

Rattan lists an overall length of 69.3 in., a 45.7 in. wheelbase, a 32.7–37.4 in. seat-height range and adjustable handlebar height. Folded dimensions are approximately 38.2 x 18 x 33.5 in., making the bike easier to store in an RV, garage, apartment or larger vehicle cargo area than a conventional full-size fat-tire e-bike.
The LM Ultra combines front suspension, a suspension seatpost, fat tires and hydraulic braking to make long rides more manageable. The removable battery can be charged on or off the bike. A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain lets the rider choose a mechanical gear independently of the five pedal-assist levels, while the half-twist throttle provides on-demand motor power where permitted.
Rattan lists the battery, 4A charger, fenders, front and rear lights, bell, rear seating/backrest and footrest equipment as part of the standard bike configuration.
